Bare Tubes

Bare tubes are used for

- the heating of polluted air
- the cooling or de-heating of polluted air
- the de-humidification of air

Agetherma bare tube heat exchangers consist of bare tubes either in stainless steel or in carbon steel. The primarily used bare tube diameters vary between 18 and 38 mm.

Stainless steel bare tubes are mainly used for de-humidification systems and hot gas cooling.

Carbon steel bare tubes are typical for air heaters which are used in incineration plants.

Gas-to-gas or air-to-air heat exchangers are always equipped with bare tubes providing the hot and the cold side are pressureless.
